Thanksgiving

here comes a huge bunch of photos!

my sister Allison wins the ward for first Christmas card of the season:
she gave hers out to us on Thanksgiving day!
She had some super cute pictures taken at the mall.
Here is Asa looking like his big 3 year old self.

and Isaac looking like a happy growing baby

Watch out for these two boys ladies!

My parents posing with their "kids"
(but what is funnny is that their chickens have names but no name has really stuck to the cat!)

and a few pictures of Aubree & Lauren from when my mom was at their house

cant have a holiday without a picture of a crying baby on grandpas lap :)

Isaac ate more Thanksgiving food than his big brother by far

not sure if he was helping Willa with her paci or stealing it for himself

a few pictures of the boy at their house
(I pulled them off my moms computer. forgive me for not placing things in better order before posting)

there might be more, or maybe not :)

Willa's 2 month stats

head: 15 1/4 (75%)
length: 24 1/2 (off the charts long!)
weight: 11lbs 9oz (50%)

I had guessed she was around 12 lbs but really was not sure.
She is average weight for her age,
but she was definitely above average weight at birth!
Although she gained less then 2 pounds in two months,
they are not concerned since she is healthy and gaining
and since she started off big.

Etta's 3 year stats

Weight: 31 lbs (70%)
Height: 38 (75%)

I was pretty proud of how this craft project turned out.
I had been hoarding empty toilet paper tubes for a while knowing
they would come in handy for a project at some point.
Some card stock and cupcake liners were the only other materials required!

3 Saturdays of Celebration

The Saturday before her birthday Etta got her first present: she went to "The Cat in the Hat" at the childrens theater with Matt. While there she got a new Dr Seuss book and got dinner out with daddy.

On her actual birthday she got donuts for breakfast, went to a friends costume birthday party and then had two of her little cousins here for dinner & dessert.

The Saturday after her birthday was her kids party. When Addie turned 3 we did a kids party for her at Little Gym. Matt & I agree that the girls don't need a kids party every year since we both have family close by and they have cousins their age that birthdays get celebrated with. But every couple of years is ok for a kids party, so this year Etta got hers. We hosted it at the Childrens Museum at the Seattle Center. The party started off in the "Jungle Room" where we did art & craft projects then transitioned to snacks & cupcakes. Then they were free to roam the museum. It was a lot of fun! We got chances to have short conversations with most of the parents and the kids got to play by each other and explore all the different areas. Our family took a break to eat lunch upstairs and watch some dancers perform to celebrate the Hmong New Year. Then we went back down to the museum for more fun, including time doing some painting and clay in the art room.
