Annual Christmas trip to the childrens museum

This year we went to the Childrens Museum in Everett

Last year we went to the Childrens Museum in Portland at Christmas time

 (one thing does not change year-to-year: Addie loves playing in the water room!)

The year before we did Everett Childrens Museum but I can't find any pictures. Could be I was too busy wearing, nursing & caring for 2- month old Etta to take any...

But we enjoy all 4 of us going sometime around Christmas when Matt has days off. He got a few random days off this year but took more so that we could enjoy the holiday with both families, plus enjoy time the 4 of us, plus maybe get some stuff done around the house. I told him the last time he took this many days off was when Etta was born!

Presents for growing girls

giggle, giggle, laugh

Etta got a sleeping bag for Christmas...

Which means:
camp-out in the basement with Daddy!

8:20pm Addie runs upstairs to go potty
8:30pm Addie runs upstairs to get a different pillow. She informs me that Etta is talking with daddy, but she is a good sleeper so she will not be doing that.
8:40pm I hear "giggle, giggle. Daddy, you're a girl!" from Addie.
8:50pm "Daddy, water me" from Etta (after 5 minutes or so of pretty close to silence)
9pm they all came up to the main floor to use the potty
9:10 quiet (mostly)
9:20 quiet. I think they are asleep but if I go down to peek the stairs might squeak. I will resist the urge!

Two years ago we took Addie to Seattle Center

 to watch the fountain, look at the train, 

ride the carousal and peak at people ice-skating.

(Etta was there too- there are just no real pictures of her since she was two months old 

and sleeping in a Moby up against me the whole time!)

This year we took both girls again.
